Three checks. Every unit. No sampling.

Every unit is checked against its manual before it leaves Lahore. The data on the nameplate is what you get in the well.

  1. Raw material inspection

    Copper purity, steel grade and epoxy integrity are tested against our design specifications before anything is machined.

  2. In-process machining audit

    Quality staff inspect every stage of machining, winding and assembly, not just the finished motor.

  3. Final performance validation

    Efficiency, amperage and power factor are measured on full load to IEEE 112 Method A before dispatch.

KOMAX (Private) Limited was established in 2015. In April 2017 it commissioned a European production plant and became the first company in Pakistan to manufacture 6, 8, 10 and 12-inch NEMA submersible motors.

The plant has CNC machining, fully automated European winding-insertion and assembly lines, steel processing and a dedicated test lab, all under one roof. We serve agriculture, industry, commercial infrastructure, municipal water and oil & gas.

What is your normal lead time?

For a 20 ft container, normal lead time is 30 to 45 days from order confirmation along with payment or a copy of the L/C.

Will KOMAX motors couple with my existing pumps?

Yes. Coupling dimensions follow the NEMA standard, so KOMAX motors couple with any NEMA-standard pump and KOMAX pumps with any NEMA-standard motor. Splined and keyway shaft options are available.

Can you manufacture under our brand?

Yes. The water-cooled rewindable motor line and SS and CI borehole pump-sets are available for private labeling, with laser marking, custom manuals and warranty cards.

How do I choose the right horsepower?

You need two values: discharge (m³/h, GPH or L/min) and total dynamic head (m or ft). The pump is selected from its characteristic curves, and the motor horsepower follows from the pump. Send us both and our engineers will size the set.

Are installation manuals supplied?

Yes. Installation and operating manuals ship with every KOMAX pump and motor model.
